In honor of National Women's Health Week, Dr. Gregory Root, an OB/GYN at INTEGRIS Canadian Valley Hospital, explores sensitive topics in a series of short, informative videos.

Today's video focuses on chronic pelvic pain, including endometriosis. Dr. Root lists possible causes of chronic pelvic pain, and explains how he develops an individualized treatment plan for each patient by working together with a pain management specialist and the patient's family physician. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to watch the video.

Gregory P. Root, D.O., is an obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in women’s health at INTEGRIS Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon, Oklahoma. Dr. Root graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University and went on to receive his doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences.
Upon graduation of medical school, Dr. Root completed a highly competitive academically focused medical residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Oklahoma State University Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital.
