Rotator Cuff Surgery

The goal of rotator cuff surgery is to repair the damaged muscles and tendons and restore function to the shoulder.

Rotator Cuff Surgery

The rotator cuff is a group of muscles and tendons that surround the shoulder joint and provide support and strength to the shoulder.

These muscles and tendons can become injured or torn due to overuse, wear and tear, or a sudden injury. When this occurs, it can cause pain, weakness, and limited range of motion in the shoulder. Surgery may be recommended if the injury is severe or if non-surgical treatments such as rest, physical therapy, and medications have not been successful in relieving the symptoms.

The goal of surgery is to repair the damaged muscles and tendons and restore function to the shoulder.
