Learn how a $50 Heart Scan could save your life.

Hope for failing hearts.

The heart transplant team at INTEGRIS Health are pioneers in the field, using advanced medical and surgical strategies to provide excellent outcomes for heart failure patients.

Pioneering Medicine

If your heart is failing and medications can no longer manage the condition, a new heart can lead to a longer and healthier life. When it comes to heart transplants, experience and outcomes matter, and that’s why the INTEGRIS physicians at the Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute are Oklahoma’s heart failure and transplantation experts. Just one year after its beginning, the Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute became one of only a handful of transplant hospitals in the nation to perform a human heart transplant. The same year, Dr. Zuhdi performed Oklahoma's first piggyback heart transplant – implanting two hearts in one chest. At the time, only five such procedures had been performed in the U.S.

A Heart Fulfilled

Beyond our rich heritage and an enviable track record, the heart transplant center at the Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute in Oklahoma City has one of the largest and most experienced transplant teams in the US. We receive referrals for patients seeking heart transplants from physicians across the country and our dedicated transplant intensive care unit has a full-time transplant/critical care specialist who manages the patients 24 hours a day. At INTEGRIS Health, we are dedicated to saving lives by combating one of America's most deadly killers by combining expert cardiology with world class heart transplants.
