Black Bean Brownies in the News!

This morning we were excited to see the Today Show debut a black bean brownie recipe. If you recall, a few weeks ago we published INTEGRIS dietitian Pam Patty's own black bean brownie recipe on I On Your Health.
We're proud to say our recipe is healthier, because it has no butter and less eggs and sugar. We also think our pinch of coffee adds some special flavor. But both recipes pack an extra punch of fiber and protein, which is always good for you and your heart.

Ingredients
- 1 stick unsalted butter, cut into chunks
- 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup canned black beans, drained, rinsed and pureed in blender
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
