INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital Construction Update

February is American Heart Month, a time set aside each year to shine a spotlight on the importance of cardiovascular health.

INTEGRIS Health thought it would be the perfect time to provide an update on the new INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital, currently being built on the INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center campus.

The impressive six-story facility is quickly taking shape and the project is on schedule. You can watch this time-lapse video to see the building rise from the ground up. View the video below to see what the INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital will look like both inside and out once complete.

“We have long been known as the only hospital in Oklahoma to offer a full spectrum of advanced cardiac care from diagnosis to heart transplantation, and the new heart hospital will allow us to continue to offer the best heart care available anywhere in the world,” says Jeffrey Sparling, M.D., an interventional cardiologist and president of INTEGRIS Health Cardiovascular Physicians. “This tower is proof of our commitment to improve the heart health of Oklahomans now and for many generations to come.”

The 209,000-square-foot building will include 64 ICU beds, multiple cardiac catheterization labs, cardiovascular operating rooms, hybrid operating rooms, electrophysiology heart labs, and convenient cardiac diagnostic testing areas. We are also excited to announce that the locally owned Ends of the Earth Coffee Company will run the onsite coffee shop.

The anticipated completion date for the new INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital is June of this year. INTEGRIS Health is actively recruiting for a variety of positions. Click here to see a full list of all open positions. You will be able to apply using the same link.
