INTEGRIS Receives Two Excellence Awards from Vizient, Inc. for Supply Chain Management Improvement

OKLAHOMA CITY (April 15, 2016) – INTEGRIS announced today it has received two Vizient Excellence Awards for Supply Chain Management. These awards recognize hospitals for dedication to significant improvement in supply chain distribution, logistics and inventory management. 

“We are being honored for creating a maturity model to be used as a roadmap to ensure that foundational steps were taken on our journey to leading practice. With this methodology, all of the new processes and improvements that have been developed have been sustainable changes,” says Micah Parker, assistant vice president of supply chain at INTEGRIS. 

The health care system was also honored for its efforts to anticipate needs and allow collaboration with administrative and clinical customers. 

“Vizient is proud to recognize the achievements of health systems who find new ways to improve their supply chain management processes,” said Scott Downing, executive vice president, Collaboration and Performance Improvement Networks. “It is exciting to see INTEGRIS’ innovative approach and how the results have contributed to the overall efficiency of their organization beyond traditional supply cost management activities.” 

Vizient, Inc., the largest member-owned health care company in the country, presented the awards on Thursday, April 14 during the 2016 Vizient Connections Summit held in Las Vegas.
