Aquatic Therapy at INTEGRIS Health Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation

INTEGRIS Health Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Thomas Utterback Aquatic Center

Healthy bodies have long been associated with water workouts. As far back as the 13th Century, people flocked to hot springs in hopes of a cure or relief from their ailments.

At the Thomas Utterback Aquatic Center at INTEGRIS Health Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation, water therapy is used to treat all types of illnesses for both children and adults. Licensed therapists and aquatic specialists provide each patient with individualized treatment to help them attain their goals. Aquatic treatment is often done in conjunction with traditional therapy to provide maximum benefit.

The aquatic treatment session is personalized and may include basic exercise and walking or one of many techniques such as Bad Ragaz, Halliwick, Myofascial, or Watsu release.
