The INTEGRIS Health Palliative Care team includes physicians, advanced practice nurses (APRN), registered nurses (RN) and social workers who will assist the patient and family by improving their quality of life through assessment of pain, symptom relief and identifying treatment options available to the patient. All along the way we will provide support as the patient and family cope with the emotional, spiritual and physical changes of an advanced chronic illness.
Palliative, the word itself, translates as “to cloak”, to provide a remedy or relief and is pronounced (pal-lee-uh-tiv)
