I have a Master of Art in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Child Development, and a minor in Spanish.  I am a Certified Grief Counselor and actively involved in the Association of Child Life Professionals. My favorite part about being a Child Life Manager is being able to support, encourage, and grow a child life team that is passionate, hardworking, and eager to learn and grow during all stages of their careers.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development, a Master of Science in Child Life, and completed my internship hours at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. I am a member of the Association of Child Life Professionals Archives Management group helping document the history of the Child Life Profession. My favorite part about being a child life specialist is working with patients and families to discover what coping skills work best for them both in and out of the hospital setting.

I completed my child life internship at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio and have worked as a Child Life Assistant, providing services to patients and families on inpatient rehabilitation units. My favorite part of being a child life specialist is providing education and support to help children better understand and cope with hospitalization.

I am completing my Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Science with a concentration in Child Life from Mississippi State University. I am pursuing certification in Trauma Informed Child Advocacy and Family Life Education (CFLE). As the Child Life Intern, I am excited to learn from some of the world’s best minds, child life specialists, and other healthcare providers in children’s medicine but perhaps the greatest lesson would come from the patients themselves.
