Patients will be prescribed blood thinners to prevent blood clots after the procedure, generally for a period of about 45 days.

Mitral Valve Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (MV-TEER)

A minimally invasive procedure that inserts a catheter through a blood vessel and up to the heart, delivering a device to repair the leaky valve.

The procedure typically takes about 1-2 hours.

Surgical Valve Replacement
