Opportunities

Reception & Infusion Room

Assist patients, families and staff during a stressful, emotional time and ease the tension of visits to INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute. Help in the Infusion room making patient's as comfortable as possible and assist patients at reception with check-in, directions, answering questions and answering the phone. Your warmth, smile and kindness might be the small thing they needed to improve their day and inspire hope.

INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute Pet Therapy

Animal assisted therapy is a goal directed intervention that incorporates an animal into the treatment process provided by a credentialed therapist. An animal assisted activity (Pet Therapy) enhances a patient’s quality of life. Credentialed pets and their handlers will visit patients, staff and guests throughout the hospital to aid in the healing process and enhance emotional coping mechanisms.

Become a Volunteer Today

Over the past two decades we have seen a growing body of research that indicates volunteering provides individual health benefits in addition to social ones. This research, which is presented by CNCS (Corporation for National and Community Service), in a report titled "The Health Benefits of Volunteering..." has established a strong relationship between volunteering and health. Those who volunteer have lower mortality rates, greater functional ability, and lower rates of depression later in life than those who do not volunteer. But don't take our word for it... join us and see for yourself!

Connections: Episode 2

A cancer diagnosis changed his life forever - but not in the way you might expect. It led to the kind of connection that illustrates the INTEGRIS Health promise: For you. For Health. For Life.
