Ryan Norris, D.O., specializes in cardiovascular disease and invasive cardiology with the INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.
After completing his cardiovascular disease fellowship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois, Norris is starting a new home – and a new practice – in Oklahoma City. Norris attended Kansas State University, where he acquired his B.S. in biology, and went on to complete his doctorate in osteopathic medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran before becoming chief resident, completing his fellowship and becoming board certified in internal medicine and echocardiography.
Dr. Norris was awarded Diplomate status with the American Board of Clinical Lipidology (ABCL). The ABCL is a nonprofit certifying organization dedicated to reducing the morbidity and mortality from cholesterol disorders known as dyslipidemia and related diseases.
As a “lipidologist” he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of dyslipidemia, which may cause atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Norris joins more than 800 physicians from across the nation, and is only the 3rd cardiologist in the entire state of Oklahoma who have achieved this important credential.
Every step of the way, Norris has been a committed volunteer, donating his time and expertise at community clinics, the Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity.
We’re proud he has chosen to join our exceptional team of cardiologists – providing more Oklahomans with the highest quality of cardiac care.
