Paul R. Allegra, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City and Edmond.
He attended medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. Dr. Allegra completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida. He subsequently completed a sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Throughout his training, he has participated in the care of high-level athletes with the New York Jets, the Miami Marlins and the University of Miami Hurricanes.
Dr. Allegra enjoys treating everyone, from athletes and weekend warriors to people who just have unfortunate accidents. He also enjoys treating people young and old from ages five and up. He believes that his job as a sports surgeon isn’t just to operate, but to also help motivate his patients to attack their recovery head on.
“I take pride in being able to restore lifestyles for my patients. That may be returning to sports, work, home life or more comfortable living. The goal of my practice is to get you back to what it is that you enjoy most.”
He lives in Edmond with his wife and daughter. He enjoys time with family, traveling, cooking, golfing and New York Jets football.
Dr. Allegra sees patients at our INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Orthopedics Edmond clinic, one day a week.
