Gregory P. Root, D.O., is an obstetrician and gynecologist (OBGYN) specializing in women’s health at INTEGRIS Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon, OK.
Dr. Root graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University and went on to receive his doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences’ College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduation of medical school, Dr. Root completed a highly competitive academically focused medical residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Oklahoma State University Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital. During his residency training he was recognized as a superior physician receiving awards in outstanding medical research, and leadership.
Dr. Root has extensive training in minimally invasive robotic surgery, high-risk pregnancy and reproductive endocrinology. He provides STD testing, pap smears, and breast cancer screening, while also performing many gynecological surgeries.
