A native of rural Illinois, George Hudson, D.O., Ph.D., provides comprehensive and preventive health care. Board-certified by the American Osteopathic Association, Hudson has a special interest in family medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, depression and anxiety.
Upon graduation from high school, Hudson attended Eastern Illinois University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in chemistry. He then went on to earn a Ph.D. in chemistry from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Before attending medical school, Dr. Hudson taught at the higher education level for a few years.
Hudson earned his medical degree from the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in eastern Kentucky. He then completed his family medicine residency at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. As an osteopathic physician, he takes the approach of caring for his patients in their entirety and understands the importance of meeting them where they are.
Dr. Hudson currently lives in Enid with his wife and son. In his free time, he enjoys staying current on science topics, shooting sports, gunsmithing, composite manufacturing, improving and maintaining vehicles, and just about anything else that includes being creative.
