David Chansolme, M.D., is a board-certified specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases, with a thriving private practice spanning since 2004. His commitment to patient care extends to both hospital and office environments.

A native of Oklahoma City, Dr. Chansolme proudly gradued from Bishop McGuinness High School in 1989. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, before starting his medical journey at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1997.

Dr. Chansolme’s professional journey includes a notable internal medicine residency at Tulane University, where he was honored as a chief resident within the Internal Medicine department. His dedication led him to pursue further expertise in Infectious Diseases through a prestigious fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, renowned for its international excellence in Infectious Diseases care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Chansolme has actively engaged in research spanning various areas of interest, including syphilis, bioterrorism, yersinia pestis infections, transplant-related infections, HIV-associated malignancies, and more. In 2004, he returned to Oklahoma City, opening a specialized practice to treat infectious diseases.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Chansolme plays an integral role in multiple boards within the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, demonstrating his strong commitment to community involvement. He resides in Oklahoma City with his wife and four children, where he continues to impact his professional and personal life positively.
